UP Projects commissioned us to design a visual identity for the Secret Garden Project – a programme of temporary commissions and pop up art events by young and established artists that created a trail of London’s secret gardens, lesser known green spaces, and urban corners.

Taking inspiration from the wild plants that sprout up through the concrete and bricks around London, the logo features plants growing in the corners of letters with tiny insects crawling inside their curves. The idea of foliage bursting out of corners was continued on the flyer by using a die-cut around the protruding buddleias.

We also designed the event map, signage and banner.

We designed the exhibition poster and map for the latest exhibition in the Secret Garden Project: Common Knowledge by artist Jacques Nimki. Common Knowledge is an on-going project on Tooting Common that catalogues the constantly changing relationship between the Common and its users.
